Our story

Filipino flavour with Aussie heart

Two shops, one family, and a fryer that's been going since 2021.

John & Annie

It started with one fryer in Doonside

In 2021, John and Annie opened a small shop on Doonside Crescent with a simple idea: cook the food they grew up with, cook it properly, and give people more than they expected. The OG fried chicken and its gravy did the rest.

Word travelled the way it does in a Filipino community — through family, church and the group chat. Soon the after-school queue was out the door, and party trays of sweet Filo spaghetti were turning up at christenings across Blacktown.

In April 2026 we marked five years in Doonside, and in the same month we opened our second kitchen in Windsor. Same recipes, same people training the crew, same welcome for the Hawkesbury.

What we stand for

Fresh

Fries cut in-house, chicken fried to order, milk tea shaken when you ask for it.

Generous

Nobody leaves hungry. Portions are sized the way a Filipino tita would serve them.

Friendly

We learn your name and your usual. That's the whole business plan.

For the barkada

Trays, sharers and party spaghetti built for a table full of people.

Where to find us

Doonside

The original. Born in 2021 and still the place the neighbourhood lines up for after school, after work and after church.

Windsor

Open since April 2026, bringing the same fryer, the same sweet spaghetti and the same welcome to the Hawkesbury.
